If you look up 1950s America in the dictionary, chances are a photo of a Bel Air will be next to the definition. Despite a long production run from 1951 to 1981, the most famous Bel Airs are the 1955 to 1957 models. The styling was unique and all new, with even a Ferrari inspired grill. Powerful V8s and optional automatic transmission meant the Bel Air was cutting edge as far as mechanicals. It was a high water mark for Chevrolet and the cars were even referred to as the “Hot One” in marketing literature.

Originally sold new in North Carolina, the car has been through a few owners over the years who have kept it in amazing condition and considered it an investment piece.
