2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

For many years, GM's Australian brand, Holden, produced the Commodore. A modern full size, rear wheel drive sedan with available V8 engines, the Commodore sold very well but wasn't offered in the North American market for many years. It eventually came in 2008 as the Pontiac G8. Based on the Zeta platform, the car was produced in Holden's Australian plant and imported from there. Offered for just 2008 and 2009, the G8 was Pontiac's last new model before the brand was discontinued.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this rare G8 for your consideration. This GXP trim was the top dog model and is highlighted by a 6.2L LS3 V8 and 6-speed manual straight out of a Corvette. With 415hp routed to the rear wheels, the GXP offers some serious performance and is often considered as a worthy BMW M5 competitor. This example is one of just 1,829 produced in is finished in a polarizing shade of White Hot. The exterior of this car is very nice and features the 19in bright alloy wheels, quad exhaust pipes, trunk spoiler, and massive Brembo disc brakes. Some light modifications include badge removal, HID headlights, cold air intake, and tinted windows. The interior is very nice and shows just hit of wear on the heavily bolstered leather sport seats. Other interior features include a dual zone climate control, premium Blaupunkt radio with 11 speakers, heated and powered front seats, leather sports steering wheel, power windows, power mirrors, and much much more.

On the performance side, this car is equipped with Nürburgring-tuned FE3 suspension package, as well as larger, ventilated Brembo disc brakes. It also features a unique front bumper, and a lower diffuser. This car is going to be a collectable for sure in the future and this nice low mileage example is the one to get!
