1983 Ford Mustang GLX

When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must have among the American public. A wide range of engines, trim options, body styles, and transmissions meant that there was a Mustang to please everyone. Ford introduced their third-generation Mustang from 1978-1993 which adjusted many components of this already popular model. With what became widely known as the Fox platform, it evolved many times throughout its long-standing popularity from trim level to drivetrain combinations.

The GLX packaged included power brakes, black remote mirrors, tinted glass, black rocker panel trim and automatic transmission. The car also has power top, power windows, power locks, cruise control, air conditioning, digital monitor system, premium audio system with AM/FM and cassette, and a quartz clock. The interior and exterior are in excellent shape. The paint is great and it has a white pinstripe, wire wheel covers, white wall tires, and excellent plastic trim. The white vinyl interior is stunning and looks almost factory fresh. The wood look dash is a nice touch as well.

This Mustang originally came from Kansas City, changed hands a couple of times, spent some time in Florida and made its way to Michigan. The car has recently been serviced with new exhaust, tune up, valve cover gaskets. This is a great car for the money and is ready for a new owner.
