GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2005 Mazda RX-8 for purchase. As interest in import tuning resurged in the late 1990's, Mazda went ahead with its project to succeed to the RX-7 sports car. The RX-8 was designed as a front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive four-seat four-door coupe. The car has near 50:50 front-rear weight distribution, and a low area of inertia that is achieved by mounting the engine behind the front axle and the fuel tank ahead of the rear axle. The ground breaking Renesis (Wankel rotary engine) won numerous awards for its awesome output for a small lightweight motor. The RX-8 is a car that is a ton of fun to drive with great import style living on.
This RX-8 is a 2-owner car coming out of Texas originally. It is powered by the 1.3L rotary Renesis engine paired with the 6-speed automatic transmission with manual paddle shifting option. This engine was replaced by another factory Mazda Renesis engine under warranty from a dealership under 11,000 miles ago due to a flooding issue with the original. It runs great and comes with its service history from the dealership. It features sunroof, black leather heated seats, remote starter, 4-wheel disc brakes, and 6-disc CD player.
