GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1997 Ford Thunderbird “Bird in a Box” for sale. The car was built on a 1997 Ford Thunderbird drivetrain and body. The Shoebox Bird was given new front fenders, fiberglass hood and trunk and add-ons to the rear fenders. The idea behind the “Bird in a Box” was to give the front and rear look of a 1950 to a 1990's T Bird.
This cool cruiser has the vintage look with the driver comforts of a more modern car. The car features a 4.6L V8 that is mated to an automatic transmission. The car runs and drives as well. The car is in excellent shape inside and out, with nice paint and shiny chrome. The car rides 17in alloy wheels. It is finished in Silver Metallic over a gray leather interior which shows very little wear. The car is well equipped and features all of the amenities that a normal 1997 Thunderbird would feature. This car is truly unique and is turn-key ready to go. Many hours of shop time and planning went into this custom cruiser. This car has been well cared for and you won't see another on the streets.
