Rod build. This 1939 Dodge Tow Truck was assemble with
an authentic, all steel 1939 Dodge Cab built on a 1973
Ford 1 ton chassis. It is powered by a Cadillac 472
Cadillac V8, automatic transmission and dual wheel rear
wheel drive.
It is finished in Satin Black with wood rear deck with tow
tower and cable and black interior with custom bright
work. Highlights include: power steering, dual interior
cooling fans, custom fabricated brushed stainless steel
front bumper, red 8 lug steel wheels, butterfly hood, air
horns, B&M Ratchet Pro Shifter, dual exhaust stacks,
VDO tach and speedometer, custom “sea chest” tool box,
work boot hitch cover, and all kinds of fun.
Mechanically, the truck starts right up and is very driver
friendly. The motor runs smooth, the power steering
makes for easy maneuverability, and the Air Horns will
wake up the neighbors.
