1973 BMW 2002 Tii

BMW's 2002 really kicked off a movement for the company that was greatly needed as they wanted to offer a more powerful version of the 1600 series in previous years. This mass produced and global model provided significant revenue for the company and allowed it to pursue many other models and fine tune some of their other models. The “Roundie” version is always sought out by any collector as the unique real tail lights were only offered for a few years.

Offered here is a very nicely sorted 1973 BMW 2002tii with only 38k miles showing on the odometer reading. Vehicle was recently acquired by a long term owner out of Florida where it was pampered and kept in a safe and secure environment during his ownership. Vehicle was treated to new Recaro front seats with matching rear seat, properly fitted door panels and the original headliner. Vehicle comes alive with the fuel injected 4 cyl and the quick shifting 5spd manual transmission. Recent fluid service was done and the tires remain in great shape along with mechanics of the vehicle. The Fjord Blue paint is in very good condition and sets the car nicely with the bright work around the car. Driving this "roundie" is a joy and the feel and looks are unmatched. These cars are becoming a rare find and the prices continue to climb. This is a great example that will provide enjoyable drives without denting the 401k too hard. Better yet, this may appreciate better than any stock or mutual fund at this point. Cars with great history, two doors and manual transmission are a solid bet.
