1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

For nearly thirty years the Wagoneer went virtually unchanged as far as the body structure goes, making it the third longest-produced one design in US automotive history. It was introduced for the 1963 model year and was built under three different manufacturers until its discontinuation in 1991. Quite arguably the first design of the “Sport Utility Vehicle” offered a sophisticated station wagon body atop a truck-like chassis.

Offered here is a clean example of the highly sought after 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These large and powerful SUVs were the beginning of a revolution towards the SUV craze that we see today. Vehicle has very low mileage with just over 58k miles and runs and drives nicely. Inside the burgundy leather interior and woo accents scream 80's. There is room for 6 passengers and plenty of gear with the massive cargo area and roof rack. Vehicle starts up with simplicity and power windows, locks and lights are working. The rear window does work with a button on dash, but does need assistance going up and can be finicky. A/C compressor does kick on but would require a recharge or additional service to work properly. Exterior is very nice and the paint and wood trim are in above average condition.

Vehicle comes with two sets of keys, factory owners manual, clean title and a strong desire to go cut down a Christmas tree and drink hot cocoa all the way. These continue to have a strong market presence and low mileage ones like this are getting nearly impossible to find. As with any older vehicle there are things that will need some servicing.
