1979 International Scout Rallye

The IHC Scout following is legendary for many reasons and the rumor of them returning as an electric version makes these even more desirable. Originally built for the farmer to get into town which transformed into a dependable and enjoyable driving vehicle for many.

We are pleased to bring to market this stunning and well cared for 1979 International Scout with the Rallye package. This vehicle is immediately an eye catcher with the factory Mint Green paint that is hard to not draw significant attention. This vehicle was refurbished in 2020 according to the previous owner with the following done; repaired in factory Mint Green, new carpet kit, tires installed, wheels refinished, vintage A/C setup added, aluminum radiator, stereo, Holley carburetor, and center console installed.

This Scout remains in excellent condition and has a very clean interior, power steering, tilt wheel, cruise control, 15in wheels, power front disc brakes, tow kit, mounted rear spare tire, roof rack, and roll bar.

This one fires up with ease, drives very nicely through the gears and 4x4 easily engages. During our test drive the wipers, horn, stereo, heat, lights, gauges and even the cigarette lighter were working properly. The A/C was blowing very mild and we believe it will need a recharge.
